About Foundation of Rotary Clubs Singapore
Established in 1993, the Foundation of Rotary Clubs (S) Ltd (FRCS) is an Institution of a Public Character (IPC). It is the charity arm of all 24 Rotary Clubs in the country. As an umbrella body that unites and represents Rotary Clubs across the nation, we pioneer and support humanitarian and educational projects to help those in need. We rally Rotarians to serve in the community, mobilising their leadership skills and vocational expertise in projects that transform lives, and ultimately promote peace in society.

Through the years, FRCS has worked with and provided support to Rotary Clubs and Rotarians in the avenues of Community, Humanitarian and Educational service in Singapore, contributing significantly to projects such as Artist with Prisons Experiences (APEX) Development Fund, Rotary Cotton:On Youth Fund, Rotary My Wish, Rotary-ITE Excellence Awards, Meals from the Heart and more.
About FRCS Eldercare and Caregivers Centre
FRCS Eldercare & Caregivers Centre (FRCS ECC) recently celebrated its 1st Anniversary since its opening on 25th June 2022. The ECC serves as the go-to-point for all seniors in the community for active ageing activities, social enhancement programmes, befriending opportunities and information for support care. For caregivers, it is a place to seek information and education on caregiving, join support groups to share best practices, receive advice and find resources to aid their elderly who may need special care.

The Centre has introduced programmes designed to improve physical, mental and intellectual well-being. These programmes range from Fitness, Mental Wellness, Arts, Social and outing events. Its aim is to enhance the well-being of elderly residents and their caregivers in Goodview Garden and Bukit Gombak to ensure they live healthier lives. Since April 2022, ECC has had a sign up rate of 75% by its members participating in the centre’s weekly programmes. Family members report that their loved ones experienced new-found joy since participating in these activities.

ECC staff also partnered and guided several members in facilitating the members’ own “Art Interest Group” and “Chinese Calligraphy Interest Group”, both whom meet on a weekly basis. This initiative unfastens communication channels, fosters co-operations and friendships.
About FRCS Family Service Centre
FRCS Family Service Centre (FRCS FSC) celebrated its 25th year of service in March of this year, since its establishment in 1997.

At FRCS FSC, we have a team of dedicated professionals who are trained and qualified to support individuals and families in need in Clementi and West Coast. We work with persons to look into ways of managing their social and emotional difficulties, while strengthening their relationships and enhancing their ability to become more resilient. We believe in upholding the dignity of persons that we serve and as our motto says, “Service Above Self”. The Centre has developed many meaningful community programmes and initiatives such as SobeRISE, Parent-Child Link, and SuperSTUDENTS!.

As of 1 April 2021, Foundation of Rotary Clubs (Singapore) Ltd via its FRCS FSC has been appointed by SG Cares Office of Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) to operate a SG Cares Volunteer Centre (VC) for Clementi town.

FRCS FSC is supported by Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), National Council of Social Service (NCSS), Community Chest and Foundation of Rotary Clubs Singapore (FRCS).
